Apple retail website design for 1Pro
A retail website for used and factory-sealed MacBooks, iMacs and iPhones: a custom WordPress theme, filters by device condition, product data synced from KiotViet.

1Pro sells MacBooks, iMacs, Mac Minis, iPhones and iPads, both used and new in sealed boxes. The initial brief was short: the site had to be fast, the operations team had to update products and promotions on their own, and the data had to match KiotViet (a Vietnamese point-of-sale system for retail shops), which the stores already use.
Used and new devices need two different presentations
For a new, sealed device, buyers care about specs and price. For a used one, the first question is always the condition of the device: battery percentage, how it looks, whether Apple's warranty still applies, whether the box is included.
Squeeze both into one product page template and you either give new devices fields they don't need or leave used devices short of information. So I split the data structure: device condition became its own filter axis, and the product page shows the information block that matches the type of stock.
The category filters follow the order buyers think in: model line → specs → condition → price range.
Promotion pages the operations team builds itself
Apple retail runs promotions constantly: holidays, new device launches, end-of-life clearances. If every campaign has to wait for a developer, the team never launches on time.
I built ready-made content blocks so the marketing team can assemble campaign pages in the CMS themselves:
- Campaign banner
- Product lists generated from conditions
- Offer blocks with bundled gifts
The team gets a new page live in a few dozen minutes, with no deploy.
Syncing KiotViet without losing control of the content
KiotViet manages products by SKU and variant, which is operational data. WordPress needs something else: an appealing title, real photos, a description written for SEO.
If KiotViet overwrote everything, each sync would wipe out the editing work. If WordPress kept everything, prices would go wrong.
I later reused this approach for MacOne and Nam Thành Công, then turned it into a shared sync service.
